UPDATE: 70-year-old woman taken to hospital with '˜serious injuries' following collision
A police spokesman confirmed the incident was reported to them at 9.50pm and took place between New York and Langrick.
They said the casualty was a 70 year-old local woman who was driving a Suzuki Jimny.

Hide AdShe was taken to Pilgrim and later transferred to Queen’s Medical Centre, in Nottingham, with serious injuries.
The road remained closed until around 4am this morning.
Wednesday, 8,04am - Fire crews had to release an occupant of a vehicle following a collision involving a car and a tractor in Langrick last night (Tuesday).
The service confirmed it had attended the incident on the B1192 at about 9.55pm.
The crews used hydraulic gear to remove the roof of the vehicle and release the casualty.
