TEN YEARS AGO: Rainbows, Brownies and Guides go on a world tour in Alford for Thinking Day
Young people from across the district met at the town’s Methodist Church, in West Street, for the celebration.
The event marks the joint birthday of Guides founders Lord and Lady Baden-Powell on February 22.

Alford Rainbows chose Russia and drew Russian dolls.
Brownies backed England and made British Sundaes from pictures of fruit.
Guides chose the Caribbean and got into the spirit with Caribbean themed singing games before making fruit kebabs for a buffet.
